How to Tell Your Kids about Divorce

September 2, 2021

12-minute course that addresses the basics of how to tell your kids about divorce. Note that this course does not address they "why" that children inevitably ask; that will differ for every family. As a general rule, though, the younger the child, the less they need to know. For many children of all ages, a version of "We're making this choice because it's best for the mental health of our family" may suffice. Please seek out professional support if appropriate, and especially if you or your child are struggling.
