Why are you interested in parent coaching?

If you had to choose (knowing no one's perfect and we're all learning), would you say you’re fairly new to respectful parenting and would like help with the basics, or do you feel fairly confident (at least most of the time) in your ability to lead with peace and compassion, and you’d just like some extra support while you master it?

New. I need a LOT of help with the basics of staying peaceful.

I'm sometimes peaceful, but find myself usually defaulting to patterns I know aren't healthy or ideal for my family.

I'm peaceful most of the time but want to take my parenting to the next level.

I've got this! I'm here because I want to master my skills so I can teach others.

Timing and Terms & Conditions

This program will meet live on Zoom for one hour at the same time each week. * You will also have approximately 1 - 2 hours of growth work to complete outside of class whenever your schedule permits (this may include videos to watch and/or a worksheet to fill out), plus reading assignments. Keep in mind that no one will "grade" your work -- it's an investment in your personal development. Please choose your session below.

Sunday afternoons/evenings U.S. time beginning JANUARY 4 at 3:30 p.m. PST/4:30 MST/5:30 CST/6:30 EST (available to all but priority given to those seeking the 12-week program AND the full parent coaching certification program)

Thursdays beginning January 8 at 10:30 a.m. PST / 11:30 a.m. MST / 12:30 p.m. CST / 1:30 p.m. EST, etc.

None of those work but please put me on a waitlist for future sessions.

I understand that if not enough students enroll in the session I've selected, I'll be asked to shift to another of the currently scheduled groups.

I understand and agree to the following:
1) Tuition is non-refundable. With advance permission, payment is transferrable to another session once per calendar year if space is available. You may transfer groups no more than once.
2) In addition to tuition, two books are required for reading assignments during the program. You may purchase them or borrow them from any reputable source. They are not included with tuition.
3) Parent coaching is not a replacement for therapy or other professional services you may need. If you require professional or emergency support while going through this program or otherwise, you are responsible for seeking it.
4) This program does not certify you to coach others.
5) The trainer(s) and organization(s) providing this program are not responsible in any way for personal outcomes.
6) I do not currently work for, and will not create, an organization or program that could be perceived as competitive with this one.

I commit to the following:
1) Be kind and gentle with myself as I'm learning new skills or strengthening my current ones.
2) Be present and compassionate with others in my group, knowing everyone is doing the best they can.
3) Attend live class meetings each week of the program, with exceptions for illness, travel, etc.
4) Complete 1-2 hours of "growth work" outside of class each week (or more, if I choose to do optional work to augment my learning).
5) Keep ALL videos, intellectual property, recordings, discussions, and other materials confidential.

I understand full tuition is due at the time I apply unless I make other arrangements directly with Sarah by emailing her at sarah@dandelion-seeds.com . Tuition is $1200 and will secure my spot in the session I've selected. Once I complete this form, I'll return to the same coaching page where I applied here and go to step 2, Payment. Alternatively, if I am unable to pay full tuition, I will PayPal or Venmo Sarah as soon as I submit this form with whatever amount is accessible to me and note on my payment what it's for (along with my name). If I require a scholarship, I will email Sarah to discuss options.

*** TYPE "I AGREE" or "I DISAGREE" BELOW *** This Agreement is entered into by and between: Dandelion Seeds Positive Parenting ("Coach") and the person applying for this program, named above ("Client"), whereby Coach agrees to provide Coaching and Training Services for Client focusing on the following topics/results/outcomes/goals described in the Dandelion Seeds Positive Parenting Parent Coaching program. Description of Coaching: Coaching is partnership (defined as an alliance, not a legal business partnership) between the Coach and the Client in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires the client to maximize personal and professional potential. It is designed to facilitate the creation/development of personal, professional or business goals and to develop and carry out a strategy/plan for achieving those goals. 1) Coach-Client Relationship: A. Coach agrees to maintain a high standard of ethics and behavior and similar to those of the International Coaching Federation “(ICF)”. www.coachingfederation.org/ethics. It is recommended that the Client review the ICF Code of Ethics and the applicable standards of behavior. B. Client is solely responsible for creating and implementing his/her own physical, mental and emotional well-being, decisions, choices, actions and results arising out of or resulting from the coaching relationship and his/her coaching calls and interactions with the Coach. As such, the Client agrees that the Coach is not and will not be liable or responsible for any actions or inaction, or for any direct or indirect result of any services provided by the Coach. Client understands coaching is not therapy and does not substitute for therapy if needed, and does not prevent, cure, or treat any mental disorder or medical disease. C. Client further acknowledges that he/she may terminate or discontinue the coaching relationship at any time with a refund or lack thereof depending on the aforementioned policy. D. Client acknowledges that coaching is a comprehensive process that may involve different areas of his or her life, including work, finances, health, relationships, education and recreation. The Client agrees that deciding how to handle these issues, incorporate coaching principles into those areas and implementing choices is exclusively the Client’s responsibility. E. Client acknowledges that coaching does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental disorders as defined by the American Psychiatric Association and that coaching is not to be used as a substitute for counseling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care, substance abuse treatment, or other professional advice by legal, medical or other qualified professionals and that it is the Client’s exclusive responsibility to seek such independent professional guidance as needed. If Client is currently under the care of a mental health professional, it is recommended that the Client promptly inform the mental health care provider of the nature and extent of the coaching relationship agreed upon by the Client and the Coach. F. The Client understands that in order to enhance the coaching relationship, the Client agrees to communicate honestly, be open to feedback and assistance and to create the time and energy to participate fully in the program. G. The Client understands that this program does not certify him or her to provide coaching services to others. To do that, he or she must complete the Peaceful Discipline Parent Coaching Certification Program, which is separate from this program, or another program that offers that result. 2) Services: The parties agree to engage in weekly Zoom calls as part of the Coaching Program. Coach may be available to Client by e-mail in between scheduled meetings as defined by the Coach (for technical issues or attendance issues or questions/comments about the program, but not for 1:1 coaching). Coach may also be available for additional time, per Client’s request on a prorated basis). 3) Schedule & Fees: This coaching agreement is valid as of the date signed. The refund policy, summarized above and listed on the Pricing page, in effect for the term of this Agreement 4) Procedure: The time of the coaching meetings and/or location will be determined by Coach and selected by Client based on a mutually agreed upon time. If the Coach will be unavailable for a scheduled meeting, Client will be notified prior to the scheduled appointment time to the extent that is possible, emergencies notwithstanding. 5) Confidentiality: This coaching relationship, as well as all information (documented or verbal) that the Client shares with the Coach as part of this relationship, is bound by principles of confidentiality . However, please be aware that the Coach-Client relationship is not considered a legally confidential relationship (like the medical and legal professions) and thus communications are not subject to the protection of any legally recognized privilege. The Coach agrees not to disclose any information pertaining to the Client without the Client’s written consent. The Coach will not disclose the Client’s name as a reference without the Client’s consent. Confidential Information does not include information that: (a) was in the Coach’s possession prior to its being furnished by the Client; (b) is generally known to the public or in the Client’s industry; (c) is obtained by the Coach from a third party, without breach of any obligation to the Client; (d) is independently developed by the Coach without use of or reference to the Client’s confidential information; or (e) the Coach is required by statute, lawfully issued subpoena, or by court order to disclose; (f) is disclosed to the Coach and as a result of such disclosure the Coach reasonably believes there to be an imminent or likely risk of danger or harm to the Client or others; and (g) involves illegal activity. The Client also acknowledges his or her continuing obligation to raise any confidentiality questions or concerns with the Coach in a timely manner. By signing this agreement, you agree to have only your name, contact information and start and end dates of coaching shared with staff members and/or other parties involved in this process for the sole and necessary purpose of verifying the coaching relationship, no personal notes will be shared. *** TYPE "I AGREE" or "I DISAGREE" ***

1:1 coaching meets live on Zoom for 30 minutes. If you need additional time, you're welcome to book additional sessions after you've completed the first one and it's mutually agreed that it's a good fit. Please select your preferred time slot, pending Sarah's availability. Sarah will contact you with her first open date during the time slot you've selected. If you cannot meet at these times, please email Sarah at sarah@dandelion-seeds.com BEFORE submitting this form, then once you've reached an agreement, come back to complete this application.
